From your lips to my ears

Hello all, next month is sort of a small milestone for me. Next month I will have had my blog running for 2 years. Even though for a year I was M.I.A.
I still made over 200 posts/caps and I'm approaching 800,000 views. Sometime next year I'll be closing in on a million views.

So my question is, over the past 2 years of making caps, I'd like you to go through my blog and let me know which one is your personal favorite and why.
This would mean a lot to me, thanks.

I hope you are all happy and healthy,
xoxoxo Katie Mills

  3. Morning, Ms. Mills:
Thank you for all of your hard work and wonderful captions.
As for me, I truly enjoyed "Great Coffee". I love me my coffee and positively drink too much of it, but it comes in so many variations. The caption was not too long and it flowed well. Only one or two spelling errors. The story was a new slant on an old line, and the model looked vaguely familiar. Her legs were amazing. Perhaps that is what pulled me in on the onset. Her shoes were beautiful. Quite like a pair I have.
Even the look on her face was slightly smiling, yet serene. Perhaps as yet she has not realized her new form. I hope she has a lot to offer in her new station. Could be a series if you have more photos of her or someone similar.
Again, thank you for all of your hard work.
    hugs
    Lee

    1. Good morning Lee,
I am so glad to hear from you and that you liked "Great Coffee".
I do apologize about spelling errors. Sometimes I never notice them until its out there. And I agree, the model had beautiful legs. Most of the time that is how I pick my photos for caption.
P.s. I love coffee as well., although lately I haven't been drinking it.
Thanks again Lee for your comment and don't be afraid to request an idea or give me a little criticism. :)

  4. Hi Katie,
You were joking right? How can I possibly pick a favorite caption for someone as talented as you. I can however give you some of my favorites: Help Me, Happiness is in the eye of the beholder, truth or dare, wonderful accident, carl's happy ending, she is so worth it, not again, great coffee, unexpected trip, making things right, strike a pose, new management, a lot alike, gemma lost, my girlfriends new BFF, girls night out....and of course, pay it forward (but that's for different reasons.
It was interesting going back in time and seeing how your style has changed over that time. You've become much more concise in your storytelling without losing any of the great detail. You always match the picture and the story so well, and it's often the picture that lures me in, so it's so great when the story is just as good. I honestly think you make some of the best captions on the internet.
I hope you are doing well, and always look forward to seeing new stuff from you.
    Love Cintia,
PS -asking people to participate in things like this is a great idea!

  5. Thank you so much Cintia, your kind words will make me blush. Lol!
I'm glad you like so many.

I have to agree with you, my style has matured over the past two years. I still remember making my very first caption putting it out there. I waited for an hour to see it would get any hits. And then I got sick of waiting and started making more caps. The rest is history.

Thank you again, this comment and all the comments here mean so much to me.
