200,000 crept up on me

Well it appears that with me taking my time and trying not to burn the candle at both ends. Another milestone crept up on Sugar and Spice. Funny I never thought I would have gotten one hundred thousand views in just under a month. It seems like yesterday I was making a big to do about 100,000 and now 200,000 has come and gone.

I am new to the community as a real person. It wasn't that long ago I was a nameless lurker who was terrified to even leave a comment on anyone's post. It really hasn't been that long. I started my blog on December 5th and in under three months it has gotten more then I had ever expected. I met some of the most wonderful people and new friends. I am truly humbled by all of this.

So to all of this wonderful community, especially to the active members who leave their thoughts in the comments to encourage, Thank you all so very much.

    Well, it COULD be your good taste in music. I have "Used Songs" on my Creative Zen so I know this song well. Speaking of Tom Waits songs, I thought that "I Never Talk to Strangers" would be a good basis for a TG caption.

    Congrats on 200k! I'd like to take credit for the boom due to the Links Exchange, but I think its your outgoing personality here and on the Haven that really is driving traffic here. You'll be on to half a million soon enough!

      I agree Dee, "I Never Talk To Strangers" would make an excellent cap. Also "I don't Wanna Grow Up." He is one of my all time favorite artists. His music is more then notes. It's poetry to music that tells the most wonderful stories..

      Thanks on the congrats for the 200k and your kind words. You are one of my favorite people in the community because of your cleverness and wit. You are helpful and kind. I really am happy that we got to know each other a little better and there is only more in store.

    Congratulations Katie!! I'm not surprised at the numbers at all, to echo Dee's comment I'm sure your love of what you're doing comes through in your work and it's part of what makes it so appealing. Looking forward to the next milestone and all the good caps to come.

      Knight, I am also glad that we are getting to know each other better. I can't tell you how many countless times I would read your captions and pick your brain for an idea. I also feel like you are my favorite pen pal because we play ping pong with comments on each others blogs.

      As for your work I am always looking forward for your next great caption. I know that they all fit the bill.
